EDITS: 1) added a polygon area in Delaware Bay, named 'DE13' in the data, </SPAN><SPAN>2) modified the shape of the 'Wildwood' polygon off the Atlantic coast of southern New Jersey. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">January 2026</SPAN><SPAN>, GIS data and metadata were updated using the latest available data as of December 2025. All available GIS data published by state agencies in the MARCO 5-state area (NY, NJ, DE, MD, VA) were reviewed.</SPAN><SPAN> EDITS: 1) New York: 4 new artificial reefs were added: Huntington/Oyster Bay Reef, Port Jefferson/Mount Sinai Reef, Mattituck Reef, Sixteen Fathom Reef; 9 artificial reef delineations in the Portal data were revised using NY's data: Smithtown Reef, Shinnecock Reef, Moriches Reef, Yellowbar Reef, Kismet Reef, Fire Island Reef, Hempstead Reef, McAllister Grounds, Rockaway Reef. Data source: NYS Department of Environmental Artificial Reef Program (NYSDEC); 2) Virginia: 2 new reef areas were added: Newport News Middle Ground Reef, East Ocean View Reef.
