These are polygon locations of Mid-Atlantic artificial reefs. They were compiled from various sources, including digital data received from state agencies and lat/long coordinates of reef corners found on public web sites. These polygons represent general areas where artificial reef material has been placed; generally the entirety of the polygon is not all artificial reef.

<br></br> Data updated, February 2023, by the MARCO Portal <br>
1) added a polygon area in Delaware Bay, named 'DE13' in the data; <br>
2) modified the shape of the 'Wildwood' polygon off the Atlantic coast of southern New Jersey. <br></br> Both February 2023 edits used the NOAA Electronic Navigational Chart (ENCs) web services as the map source.
