This only contains the single longest contour at this depth. Numerous smaller contours were omitted. Also, because the units of the source bathymetry data were in meters the selected depth was rounded to the nearest meter. This is actually a 183 meter depth contour whereas 100 fathoms is 182.9 meters. This line was derived from 83 meter resolution raster bathymetry data. Horizontal accuracy varies depending on the number of soundings used to derive the bathymetry data in any given area.
